Thelonious Monk was one of the great jazz composers (along with Ellington and Mingus), and while he was the best performer of his own music, there are many musicians who have recorded his compositions. This list is not intended to be complete, but is a good selection of albums that represent Monk the composer, as well as several pieces inspired by him.
