Quotes from the scripts: (remember these?)
The Missing Page -
Sid "Bertrand Russell, didn't he write Kiss the Blood off my Hands?"
Tony "Kiss the Blood off my Hands, Bertie of all people. Of course he didn't. That's not his style at all. You're thinking of Aldous Huxley."
The Reunion Party -
Tony "Tough? Savage is more the word. There we were, dug in just outside Anzio, when the order came through - retreat on all fronts. I looked at Smudger, and I said , 'Which way's Berlin?'. He said, 'That Way.' I said, 'Right, that's the way we're going.'"
Hancock Alone -
Tony "Bicuspid. I suppose it's Latin. Bi - meaning two. One on each side. Cus . . meaning to swear. Pid . . meaning pid. Greek probably. Yeah, pid - Greek for teeth, I should think. That's it then. Bicuspid. Two swearing teeth. I suppose so. I bet I'm not far out anyway."
The Bowmans -
Tony (singing) "I've got mangel wurzels in my garden, I've got mangel wurzels in my shed ... I've got mangel wurzels in my bathroom, and a mangel wurzel for a head."
The Blood Donor -
Doctor "A pint is a perfectly normal quantity to take."
Tony "You don't seriously expect me to believe that. I mean, I came in here in all good faith to help my country. I don't mind giving a reasonable amount, but a pint. . . why that's very nearly an armful. I'm sorry. I'm not walking around with an empty arm for anybody. I mean, a joke's a joke ..."
